RE
In R.E/Literacy this term, we having looking at the school parable -The Good Samaritan. We have acted out the parable to understand the motivations of the characters in the story and then held a class debate to explore the opinions of each character and the children’s reaction to these.

Science
In science, our topic throughout the year is Living things and their habitats. For the autumn term, we surveyed different habitats to attain figures to compare at the end of the school year.

Geography
In Geography, we have looked at mapping and compass skills.

Each week we had a pupil led Celebration of the Word.
Science
Our science topic this term, was sound and we had a fabulous time discovering all about how sound is made. Also what affects pitch and volume, We made our own instruments and finally what material would make the best noise insulating headphones.

Geography
We have studying Brazil and looking at its culture and climate with particular interest on the Amazon Rainforest.

Our gospel value this term is Peace and our in class celebrations of the word encompass this.

In RE we have been exploring Pentecost and how as Child of God we follow the Apostles of Jesus and spread the Good News of Jesus sending the Holy Spirit so we
could share the Gospel with one another. We role played Peter and John being imprisoned for spreading the word of the Lord and
explored how everyone was reacting and feeling at this time.

Science
For our topic of Living things and their habitats we collected data for our comparison of invertebrates found in different habitats in the school grounds.
